Megawatts Sustainable Energy sponsored an Eco Self-Sustained Containerized Unit, designed and built to support Singapore National Day Parade (NDP) 2026.
This unit provides a sustainable and fast deployable solution for temporary office and resting area facilities. The self-sustained unit integrates Solar PV with Battery Energy Storage, while also allowing seamless connection to utility grid or standby generator. This flexible energy configuration enhances power resilience while reducing reliance on conventional energy sources.
The unit is equipped with 12 Solar PV panels of capacity ranging from 490 Wp to 640 Wp, an integrated PV inverter and 20 kWh Energy Storage System (ESS). The clean energy system provides power for air-conditioning, lighting, fridge, office equipment, and other auxiliary loads.
This project demonstrates how integrated solar generation and energy storage can be deployed to support temporary sites and events, while contributing towards Singapore’s sustainability and carbon-reduction objectives.
